Scales used for commercial purposes are inspected at regular intervals by authorized bodies, and those found compliant are stamped. A scale found non-compliant during inspection cannot be used for commercial weighing until the issue is resolved; this means your shipments come to a halt.
What do we do before inspection?
- A pre-check of the scale with test weights before the inspection date
- Correction of corner errors and linearity deviations
- Cleaning under the platform, checking drainage and moving parts
- Reviewing seals, labels and scale identification details
- Checking that indicator settings (division, capacity, filter) comply with regulations
Inspection day
If you wish, our technician can be present on site during the inspection; placing test loads, handling any adjustment needs and responding immediately to potential issues helps your scale return to service the same day.
If you prefer not to track your inspection dates, we will remind and plan on your behalf as part of the maintenance contract.
